Stopped by to check out what I was told would be an amazing site and was disappointed. Over-protected with limited views of the lake from both sides of this two "plotted" camp site. Many tent options if a large group needed space. Sites connected by one short trail. Too overgrown for my taste.

Adequate camp site but not as good as previous reviews. Would probably not stay here again.

Double sided as previous reviewer remarked. Unremarkable on both sides. The woods between had a dingy feel. Our least favorite site of the trip (no joke). Wouldn't recommend.

Just had to add to this one - this is my favorite campsite in Quetico, and we've stayed on it mutiple times. Sand beaches all around the penninsula, easy landing area, great fishing within a short paddle, on a point where you can get all directions of views but south, fire pit, open area is great. Highly recommended.

Stayed at this site in June of 2004. There are actually two sites here, one on the west side of the point and one of the east side. A short, easy walk can take you from one site to the other, so this may be good for groups. Looking at this map, it's possible that D4 and D8 are the two different sites, but they were closer then appears on the map. The west site is smaller with space for one or two tents. The east site is larger with spots for three or four tents. We stayed at the east site. Both sites have sandy landings that are great for swimming. Sites are flat, not very rocky and very user friendly.
