Quite a bit of open area under big Red and White Pines. Flat ledge and gravel beach landing spots. Well protected from most wind directions. Almost an island, but connected to land. Small fire pit.

Made a lunch stop here (May, 2004). Nice fire ring and log bench. Not too much flat ground, as I recall, but enough room to put a tents down (gradual slope to water). Didn't find a very good put-in/take-out, so pulled up to shore and parallel-parked--then walked back north to the site.
