Great site with access from two sides and some nice tent pads. Not a huge site but good exposure all around while at the same time being protected. Easy to reach both parts of the lake but it would be sort of a bummer to have people camped on this and the site across the way.

Stayed in vicinity of this camp 2007 and found it to be exactly as DentonDoc described. I was on a flat rock ledge on shoreline northeast of camp proper. Behind me in woods were several large flat spots suitable for big tents with good paths to main camp about 150 feet away. Lots of fire wood.

Stayed here on May, 2004 trip. Relatively primitive conditions. Fire ring is pretty minimal and seating is a few blow-down logs that have been placed on the ground in relative proximity of the fire ring. Tent pad area is forest floor in a stand of timber and is basically flat. Put-in/take-out, on gently sloping rock face extending into the narrow neck of the channel, is also a good spot to take some morning sun and has an excellent view north and a decent view south. (Channel is relatively shallow, but did fish reefs NE of this position and did OK on smallmouth).
