Overall, this is a good site. We did have two groups of hikers pass through the site over the course of 3 days, but the trail also allowed for my kids to explore the shore more easily as well. The landing is good and the fire grate is an A . The shore fishing produced many 1-2lb small mouth bass.

Good site. Yes, it's right on a hiking trail, but I was here three nights and no hikers passed by. Awesome views of the lake - especially at sunset. The only downside is that I could hear the people talking at the site across which is a downer when you're by yourself and want peace and quiet. It wasn't really their fault, but just keep that in mind if that site is taken. It's probably a much better site to be honest.

We always called this site "Camp Wannabanana" after one of our group found ripe bananas hanging in a tree here. Not a bad site, but we prefer the one across the way. This one is really tucked back into its cove. Good fishing just off shore though.
