We never stayed here, but we have stopped in a time or two. This is a nice open site with good shade from above. Landing is a bit rocky, but the site is nice.
Updated - the big old pine which made this campsite special is gone. Now the site is a little ragged

Clumsy rocky landing. Exposed fire grate with decent log seating. Quite a hike up to the latrine. Several good tent pads, the best are on the trails leading down the shoreline (in both directions) out of camp.

Did not stay on site but used site to recover a tipped canoe and dry out the members of the canoe. Caught a 4lb Small mouth while waiting.

Nice flat pine needle floor site along Daniels lake trail, plenty of tent pads and hammock hanging opportunities
