Fine site. Grate area ok. Plenty of space to spread out under the canopy - room for several tents. We had a curious bear in the site at night - it moved on after 10 to 15 minutes.

Mountain lake is beautiful. Camp site was tight and not much access to the lake but the fire grate area was nice and suitable for 9.

Landing is fair/ok, would not go so far as to say good. A little tough to put canoes on shore, you have to hoist them up over shrubs which are very much in the way.
Fire grate was fixed since previous report. Well used site so you have to go up or down the lake to find any firewood. Latrine hard to find first time, go up the hill and keep on going, bend around to left and you'll find it.
Very shady north facing site, no sun which we could have used as it was in the low 40's for highs. The one good tent pad is closer to the fire grate than one would like, and putting a tent there cuts off access to the other tent pads to a greater or lesser extent depending on the size of your tent and how far the ropes extend for the rain fly.

Nice, spread out site. Good fire grate. One phenomenal tent pad, with a few others spread around. Good access to Clearwater and Watap. Fire grate is shattered, which is unfortunate. Otherwise, this site worked really well for us.
