Large site, good takeout, sheltered firepit, most tent pads not quite level. Good views from top of adjacent granite dome. Does not seem to be heavily used.

Beautiful small island site, near mainland shoreline. Campsite hidden on SE side. Very smooth flat ledgerock terrain with easy elevations. Manicured grounds under big and smaller Red pine forest. Nice fire pit and good landing on SE side of island. Fall of 1998 there were log seats and half-log picnic table constructed around firepit.
