Landing is not so great. Very interesting and cool site but not very functional. Not a lot of flat land for tents but a couple OK spots for hammocks. great view of the lake. Lots to explore right off the site.

Decent site with good bear trees and a nice swimming area. There is an old railroad grade running through the back of the campsite that spurs off of the nearby portage. This provides firewood and exploration opportunities, but also increases the risk of unwanted visitors accidentally wandering through.

Spent three days on this sight. Best feature is the area above the campsite where there were several tall pines that hammocks fit very well on. The view from there was amazing. Lost my fishing pole had to go swimming to get it.

Landing high, the rock is at the top of the canoe when sitting in the lake, a slight lift up. Great kitchen area and a great area for a tarp. Small tent pads in the main site area with some roots. At the top of the site but below the toilet is a trail on an old rail bed which makes a great level spot for several large tents.

Great campsite for us. 2 adults. 4 kids. Great exposed site for cooking and hanging out. Private and sheltered area for tents. Good trees for hammacks and rain flys. Great rock for jumping in the lake. The canoe landing could be a little dicey, but not unlike many. Overall, easily a 4-star.
