flat campsite, nice fire pit, lots of shade, good shoreline. nice island in front. Bass fishing during spawn.

Great site. Nice landing with a firegrate near the water. Plenty of options for hammocks. Plenty of opportunity for beautiful sunrises, but no sunset views. May see some traffic as the site is near a portage point.

Was going to be a one night stand but turned into our home for 4 nights - Good base camp with a comfortable sitting area around the fire grate. Several places for good sky sleeping.

Beautiful, sunny site, picturesque island in front- lots of exposure. Nice grassy spot for dogs or hauling the canoe up. It would be a tough spot on a cold, windy day. Tent pads are set back into the woods. A little too shallow to fish right from the site. Latrine is good working order. Fire grate worked really well for us. Light on available firewood- needed to venture out for kindling.

Nice site... Large open area out front, firepit with a nice view of the lake, would use again.
Fishing was good that week.

I believe this site is actually just to the west of the portage to Clearwater Lake. (currently the map shows it to the east). The landing is tight but free of rocks. The fire grate is exposed and didn't offer much in the way of seating, although there is an excellent view of the lake & the small island out in front of camp. Several excellent tent pads that are well sheltered. Canoe traffic will be prevalent here.
