For the life of me, I can't understand campsites on islands this small. No firewood and no room for latrine needs. We stopped on our way down the narrows, but didn't spend the night.

Small Island nice campsite. Small though and sanitation is an issue. You really can't go to the bathroom as far away from the water as is needed. It just doesn't work on the island and the campsite is pretty much the whole island. Great fishing off the side to the west in the fast water. I caught a walleye first of the trip. Several Pike and Small mouth bass. I don't think the kitchen area was very good. I think I ended up cooking away from it at this campsite. Ryan

Camped here on 9-1-04. An excellent camp with excellent fishing a stone's throw away (or less). The island is small, so sanitation and firewood can be issues. Good landing on bedrock ledge. Nice fire ring. Good views to southwest. Some canoe traffic when we were there, but not bad. Did not get lat/long.
