Gorgeous site, up high with great views of the lake. By Quetico standards, this site is large and sprawling. Only two areas where tents can be set up fairly flat, but both are big enough to hold two small tents. The good one is at the south end of the site, tucked back out of the wind with a fairly flat, grassy pad. The less good one is closer to the fire area and mostly needles, with too rocky a surface to drive most stakes.
The site was very windy when we were there, but the good tent area is sheltered, and we found an area both sheltered and flat for cooking, back behind the fire ring.

Elevated site, good views. Good takeout on north side. Tent spots mostly not level.

Great views down the lake. A little bit of a carry from the shore to this elevated campsite.

Large, elevated site (30 ft above lake) with breathtaking views along full length of lake from NE to SW! Only true campsite on entire lake. Exceptional Northern Pike and Smallmouth Bass fishing. Keep in mind, NO FIREWOOD AT CAMPSITE! NONE! ZIP! NADA! You must canoe along the perimeter of the lake and gather wood to bring back to camp. Definitely a DAILY chore. Other problem is the fact that the campsite must be secured early in the day. There is nothing else nearby. Do not get caught on Isabella late in the day looking to land this site. Too risky a game to play. Huge bald eagle overhead!
