Very nice site in my opinion. Spacious with plenty of places for tents -- our group was six people with two tents and a tarp and nobody had any issue finding a good spot. Kitchen area is well set up. Views of Alder are great. Lots of beaver activity in the vicinity. Breeze off the lake kept the mosquitoes to a minimum (but they were pretty terrible in the woodier parts of the site).
Low water when we were there, but the landing was definitely slightly tricky. Lots of slippery rocks. For the same reason, swimming was not great. One member slipped and gashed her leg trying to get to deeper water.
Site clearly sees tons and tons of use. Lots of unfortunate damage all around -- gashed trees, stripped bark, etc. Someone cut down several small trees around the site before we were there this summer and left the slash all round camp. Some leaves were still green. Also worth noting -- the site is infested with mice. Tons of them. Probably another sign of overuse and less responsible use.
You can also hear and see the campsite directly across Alder when the wind was right.
Finally, the toilet is very close to camp and you could sometimes smell it when the wind shifted.
Despite the negatives, it's still a good campsite I would return to.

Excellent campsite with multiple fairly level tent pads and hammock capability. The west facing landing is slightly tricky but able to be navigated. Interestingly, there is a second landing on the south side of the peninsula heading toward the bay. Tall fire grate surrounded a great fire shield. This visit was severely windy and prevented any fishing and severely limited fires.

Nice campsite with many large white pines. Pine duff carpets the floor. Shaded as well. Great sitting rocks out front that you can use to watch the sunset. The landing directly in front of the site is difficult, but there is an alternative landing that is out of the wind on the south side of the point. The three good tent pads are large. There is somewhat of a dropoff in front of the site. Might not be as deep as some people think, though, since we cleaned up a lot of fishing line that was stuck in the rocks below the surface.

Overall this was a good campsite. There are many potential tent pads scattered around the campsite, and some good trees to hang hammocks. The kitchen area was set up well, but unfortunately we did not get to have a fire. The main landing area is a bit rocky but manageable. There is also a smaller less drastic landing on the south side of the campsite that is easier but requires a short winding trail through the brush (it is pretty worn down). The rocky main landing was a beautiful spot to sit and watch the sunset and start gaze. One main issue is the wind coming across the lake directly into the site. We fashioned a tarp around two trees right by the kitchen area so that we could run our stoves. Also, the latrine is pretty close to the site and almost full. Hopefully that means they will move it to a more private location!

This site offers great sunset views and breeze off the water. Lots of tarp/hammock options. The northern landing is very steep and rocky. There is a shallow and sheltered landing on the south side connected by an overgrown tail. One of our group still gashed their knee open here on a submerged rock–ending their trip on our second day.
