The campsite sits up on a bluff overlooking Sturgeon Lake. There is a narrow ledge to haul and store your boat at the bottom of the bluff. You have to haul your gear up to the top of the hill in order to set up camp. One or two decent spots are flat enough for pitching a tent. I don't recall that there was much in the way of hammock hanging spots but this may have changed since I was last there. It's not a bad site, just a climb up from the water.
