This site is on the West point above where it's shown currently. Good canoe access on south side of point. Small but serviceable fireplace, with good seating. Lots of pines and soft duff, and you could easily put up 4-5 tents in various spots, although some were only so-so. There were ample tarp opportunities here. Ample firewood and good sanitation/ dishwashing places. Walleye supper was caught off the western shore. Lady slippers were blooming and a hummingbird visited us here June 6-7, 2011.

This site is just a little bit north on the tip of the point going out into Camel. The landing area isn't great here but there is ample room for three or more tents. The ground is soft and the site offers nice views of Camel. Definitely an above average site.

It is unclear if this campsite is in the point or to the southwest of the point.
