Tough site, all slope. Day we stayed was exceptionally hot. Water in this lake is not clear.

Rocky landing. Decent firegrate area that provides a nice view of the lake but, still affords some protection. Most of the site is noticeably sloped. Thus, not much for good tent pads. Plenty of firewood nearby. Not the greatest site for viewing sunrises. Water was kinda murky/weedy near shore. Tough not to get large particles when scooping water from shore & provided only a marginal swimming area. Latrine was fairly close, yet private. Observed plenty of wildlife.
