Site is nearer the point than PCD dot shows -- see LAT/LON [Editor note, location on map adjusted as specified here]. We were staying at the larger, more-used site on the point to the south and checked this site on 8/29/2012. Joe Certa's notes: great landing on back side, with decent second landing for higher water; best fire ring we've seen -- you can actually sit and still reach it; not used recently; 3 "ok" pads for small tents; great access to water on all sides; reef to fish about 20' down shore. Good landing on south side of point; good water access for sitting/bathing all around; one level pad for a 3-man tent, with 2 other tent possibilities in rockier/rootier places; good tarp options; tall fireplace with good double log seating on two sides but too far from the FP; FP area exposed after midday until late afternoon; another log with hewed flat top for sitting a short distance from the FP; usable site area is actually pretty small; a few old trails do not go far into the thick woods behind tent area.

Big site, heavily used (actual site is south on peninsula). Lots of nails, benches, trash, burned wood, massive bon fire sized firepit. Lots of TP bombs. Very nice views of lake, good swimming rock and plenty of exposure.
