This is little more than a mosquito-infested, packed area with a fire ring. There’s room for a couple small tents. On a brighter note, you can roll out of your tent and be right on the portage. Another plus is the fact that there’s plenty of prime, undisturbed pooping logs…if you dare expose fresh real estate to the skeeters. I’d maybe stage here if wind bound, but I wouldn’t overnight here. —Ryan

This "site" is just the end of the portage @ a sandy beach...were overrun by mosquitos in the thousands when we stopped to rest here. Could be used as a site, but being so close to a moose watering hole, wouldn't prefer it myself.
