The only bad thing about this site is that the boat landing was a bit challenging. Everything else--the view, the lake, the kitchen, the swimming--was great. Emerald is truly a hidden gem. If you are the first group to get there, you will almost definitely have the lake to yourself. The other campsite on Emerald isn't well kept. Also, the lake is out of the way, the portage to get there is relatively overgrown, and there are no fish in Emerald, meaning that you will likely have the lake to yourself for the duration of your stay. This site has one of the best jumping rocks I've seen, making swimming here a lot of fun.

This is a nice campsite on an out-of-the-way lake. The kitchen is high up. It could be a little windy at times. The site is covered in blueberry bushes. The tent pads are nice. I don't remember how many there were, but it was a decent-sized site. The landing is average - not too hard, but not too easy. There is a jumping rock if you like to do that. There are no fish in the lake - you have to go to Hustler for that.
