I agree with pretty much everything that has been said in the other reviews. Other than a lack of shore fishing, this site has everything. I will say though that Swan lake is busier than I expected. Get here early in the day to get this site.

We've stayed here twice in two years. Great sand bar for swimming. Elevated breezy area overlooking the lake towards the sunset. Fantastic kitchen area. Boat landing is good, but not a lot of room for more than one until you pull one so the way up on shore.
Fishing from the site is limited, but go around to the bay that's just north of the site for walleye, smallies and pike...

Good site. Nice kitchen and room for tents. Above average site and probably the best on this lake.

Excellent site, good landing and storage. Good bear bag trees as well. Main camp area is up a small hill with very good kitchen and fire pit. Lots of tent pads and places for a tarp. Excellent swimming area too.

We decided this campsite was slightly better than the one to the east, but it was very close. This site is better for a large group. Landing was OK - it is a sandy bottom, but the sand does not extend to the shore, so you still have to land on some rocks. Difficult for the back person to get out. Short hike up to the site, which is mostly up high on a rock. The kitchen was open. OK view from the kitchen, but mostly blocked by trees. Numerous rocks to sit on along the shore, though, if you want to get a good view. One extremely large, flat tent pad that I counted as two - you can easily fit two tents in there. A few other places you can put tents scattered throughout the large site. We used the space behind the kitchen for our tarp, but it could be converted to a tent pad. Numerous large white pines.

Very big and nice site. Overall it would more likely be like 4.5 stars, but of course that's not an option. Below is the rating of each individual aspect of the site:
Landing - 3 stars. There is a rock to land by and it's fairly easy to access, but it's still a challenge for the back person to get out. Furthermore, there's a small ledge right by shore, so getting the canoe out of the water becomes difficult.
Tent Pads - 5 stars. a few very flat tent pads to choose from and lots of space around the tent pads. Tent pads are also perfect distance from the fire grate. Perfect site for a big group.
Fire Grate - 4.5 stars. Plenty of room and seating around the fire grate. It sits up on a hill over looking the lake for a nice view. There's no seating on the backside because it's right on the edge of the hill, so I deducted a half star for that.
Site Size - 5 Stars. Plenty of space for a big group. There's a nice big area right off the fire grate to put up a group tarp/seating area (also doubles as an extra tent pad if needed).
