The site can be hard to see from the water- it's atop a high rock face about 20 feet above the lake. The cooking area is open and has a good view of the lake. The landing is shallow and it's a steep climb up. Not much level ground for tents, but plenty of good hammock spots. The other site is probably better

From the water, the campsite is marked by a rock face. Decent landing on the south side of the rock face - not the easiest, but far from the hardest. Steep climb up to the site. The view is mostly blocked, but you have a "window" looking out on the islands in front of the site. The trees in the kitchen are mostly cedar.

Your take on this site will vary on a number of factors. There is a nice large-ish clearing for tents, but every tent site is sloped. Further, the views, especially sunrise, are phenomenal, but that is partially because the site is elevated. The slope down to the water is very steep and can be dangerous if wet. I had zero luck fishing from the site. The first pit was average.

Good east exposure and views of the lake. Somewhat secluded and on a less-traveled section of the region. Ground is sloped for most tent pads.

Great views, but site is very high off the water. Saw a moose swim across the lake to this site.

Nice pretty site. Pretty high off the water, kind of a trek up and down when you get water. Easy canoe landing and great morning views of Vista lake. One downfall for me was the couple staying at the nice SE campsite. Could hear them arguing and their dog barking from my site all night.
