Quiet lake. Nice landing - can parallel park the canoe along the sloping rock. The kitchen leaves something to be desired - when I visited, the sitting logs were in need of replacement. Of the two tent pads, one is better than the other. The second tent pad is next to an ant hill.

This one is small as well in a not-too-often visited chain of lakes off a not-sought-out entry. Not as bad as it could be thought.

Wind blew us off of our planned route so we jumped from Morgan over to Carl and set up camp at this site. Caught tons of pike right from shore at this campsite. It's a decent site for a small group. If you need a respite from the wind or just a small lake all to yourself you could do worse....

A sloping rock runs down into the lake which could make for a slippery exit. Firegrate is back from the lake up on a neat little rock ledge. But it is small. Alot of small shrubs & brush around the immediate camping area, thus no good tarp options. Has a couple of decent tent pads, but both are sloped slightly towards the lake.

We spent a lot of time cleaning this site up...looks a lot better now. We put up 3 tents and 4 hammocks. I would stay here again because it's close to Morgan Lake. We hammered the Northerns here...so fun.

Not the best site in the world. By far the buggiest site I had after a week in late May early June. Very close to EP 45 if you get a late start like I did. Also, very quiet little lake, saw the one and only moose from this trip across the lake while drinking my morning coffee. A LOT of beaver and loon activity when I stayed on this lake.
