Landing leaves something to be desired. You probably have to get wet to load/unload or even get in the canoe. It is a hike up to the kitchen, but it is worth it for the great view. White pines complete the scenic landscape. Ram is also a very pretty lake, and the color of the water is amazing. I only saw one good tent pad, but there might be two.

Ram lake is absolutely beautiful, although small it has deep, clear water. I would bring goggles if you plan on swimming at this site! This campsite has a small landing and a steep narrow path to get up to the grate but is certainly worth the challenge. The site sits up on a high rock which might be jumpable (I didn't try it though as I was with students, scope properly). Great view, nice old growth trees. There's a great white pine for a bear tree back from the site.

Tough, tight, brushy landing. Decent climb up to the site proper. Fire grate area was sloped and had little in the way of log seating, although it did afford an excellent view out across the lake. There are a couple of very nice tent pads and some mature white pines that provide some shade & shelter. A hiking trail runs all the way back to the EP portage.
