Good elevated site with a great view over the lake, definitely the better of the two sites on Slim. The fire pit area had good benches and there was a convenient bear hang. Not many options to tarp if needed and would be exposed to the wind at the fire grate, but we had good weather. The tent pads were protected behind the rock and were very nice. I had a good hammock spot down by the water and canoe landing.

The sit sits on a high vantage point. for views this is a 4 site. The fire pit is exposed on the vantage rocks and a tart is hard to arrange in the area due to lake of trees. The landing on the north side is adequate, but it is a steep and somewhat treacherous clime to the actual camp area. The tent sites are further back and are adequately protected by a rocky slope and trees. It has several good hammock hang locations. The tent area is relatively flat amd does tend to collect water.

Not including the site just to the south, this was the first vacant camp from the LISN entry point and it was a long haul for us. Like others have said, a beautiful vantage point from high off the water. Difficult landing. Plenty of flat tent pads - watch for widow-maker leaning trees. Some of the tent pads will gather water in rainstorms too. Nice walk to the latrine past an old thunderbox. The early morning sun dried us out from the intermittent downpours throughout the night.

High up off the water with a commanding view of the lake. Beautiful site. Only downsides are tricky landings for the canoe and the climb with gear up to the main site.

Stayed here during three days of intermittent rain storms. When it was clear, the kitchen area on the hills is amazing. When it was rainy and windy, the tentpads tucked below offered respite. Beautiful spot!
