It is one of the better one-star campsites I have been to, but it is still one star. The landing is narrow and rocky. It is definitely not used much. Weeds were growing out of the grate, and almost nothing was in the latrine. There is no seating around the grate, and it is a very small kitchen area. The site actually has two good tent pads. They have not been used in some time, but they were flat. The true adventure with this site is getting there. It was tough, even in high water. The first half of the creek from Wonder to Sunhigh was OK - it wound around a lot, but wide enough to comfortably get the canoe through. The second half was shallow. On one rocky stretch, we had to get out and walk the canoe through. Luckily it was shallow with a solid bottom, so it was easy to walk along. At the Sunhigh end it got really shallow. The last obstacle was a beaver dam that stretched across the entire entrance to Sunhigh. If the water is low, it would be very difficult to get here.

Tried to get to this campsite but the water in the creek was not high enough to get through. Made it 3/4ths of the way.
