It was a nice site. pretty expansive. good hammocking and tent options. A little low lying, good canoe parking, beach access. We found some wasps in camp... the blue kind. (Mud dauber?) 1 decided to light me up. It was a rather unpleasant and worrisome ordeal... I screamed like a child, but found off the tear like the 38 year old man that I am... haha
Once the wasps came out. they didn't leave.
Honestly. I wouldn't stay here again because of that..

This site is nice and but the beach to the north is the star of the show. This was the first night of my first guided trip of the year with a group of gap-year students and I wanted a special spot. This fit the bill. We enjoyed a sunset from the beach and some students got to watch a moose with a calf walk up the beach in the sunrise. Good start to the trip.

The site looks small from the water, but it opens up in the trees. There are two landings. The south landing is a shallow sloping rock. The north landing is a giant sandy bay. There are three great tent pads and a couple of other good ones. It has a nice view from the kitchen, and there is a nice ledge to sit on by the water. It was extremely buggy when I was there in June. I don't know if this is normal, but it would be a big downside to the site.

Kitchen and one tent site out on a small point with views of the large glacial erratic boulder in the center of Frost. Many spots for hammocks and tents in the cedar grove here. Was very buggy during July 2022.

Wonderful sandy beaches for swimming and easy canoe access. Lots of moose tracks along the beach, but sadly we didn't have any sightings while we were there. This is a great site, and unfortunately is suffering from overuse. Lots of braiding, trampled vegetation, and soil compaction. There are many tent pads, but all suffer from cupping and there is generally a lot flooding of the site in the rain.

Huge site with nice sloping rocky shoreline and lots of options for tents and hammocks. Good views of the lake and great little beach adjacent to the site.

A decent site with a pleasant rock outcropping and tent pads back in the woods. The fire spot is just okay and our biggest complaint was a loud drunk group fishing not far off from the site all afternoon that really dampened our experience.

The main landing is rocky, but overall a very nice site with awesome views of Frost Lake! We had plenty of room with 2 tents and 2 hammocks. Found moose tracks on the beach, but no moose sightings for us :(

This would be a great site if the tent pads were not overused and bowl-shaped. This is easily the best site on Frost with good landings, nice fire area, a beach, and a great view of the lake from this point. We enjoyed this site for a couple hours as we baked a lake trout shore lunch. The site provided great shelter from the cool north wind.

A couple of nice landings, one well protected back around the point. Well sheltered fire grate area, yet offers good views with ample room to roam & fish along the rocky shoreline. The tent pads are decent but, appear to be bowl shaped. There is a beautiful beach just north of the main camping area, easily within walking distance.
