Stopped here for lunch and a nap in the sun on the beach on an end of September afternoon. Beautiful campsite with a great sandy beach. Open site with room for multiple tents and options for many many hammocks. This site is low lying and could be very buggy except during the shoulder seasons, would have rated higher except for this.

Large, flat, open site with a huge sand beach. The woods is open, so you can fit as many tents as you want. It has obviously seen human use - cut pine boughs and stripped birch trees were everywhere. Buggy when I was there in June.

Nice, large site with sandy beach, so no fishing from shore. Can walk down shoreline about 40 yards. Pine/cedar grove in back. Loved it in 2013, but wind in 2014 was fierce. Blew directly at the site day and night for three days. Could get away from wind in trees but beware of widow makers.

This is a large and open site that would be my #2 choice on Frost. It suffered significant damage in 2016 as a number of trees were blown down. The landing is great and there are many tent pads to choose from. A couple drawbacks to this site are the low-lying proxkmity to a swamp and the latrine lacks privacy because the woods is so open.
