Landing is difficult - I just ended up getting wet, and I didn't even have any packs. There is nowhere to unload easily. Perhaps it would have been better in low water, but I doubt it. Not many places to put tents. There is one good tent pad. Another possible tent pad is slanted. The last option isn't really an option because of all the roots. It is a scenic setting, and it has some nice sitting rocks with a nice view of the cliff and tall white pines across the lake.

Shallow water landing but, no convenient canoe storage spot near the water. Tough climb up to the main camping area and didn't provide that great of a view. Tent pads were all lumpy.

Beautiful view from the campsite of cliff and southern bays Nice rock for sitting next to the water. Tent pads are up the hill in an open area . Could fit 3 or more tents if you want to be cozy. Protected from winds and rather secluded for being on the route from Cherokee to Long Island lakes. We really enjoyed our time there .

Slick rock for landing, steeper incline and moose crap all over the campsite. Didn't stay and kept looking.
