Great site with easy access from the sheltered bay. Great swimming, views, and sunning on the rock on outcropping though you can see a nearby campsite. The kitchen area is just sheltered enough by trees to provide a good wind break and daytime shade, plenty of good hammock trees as well.

Protected landing area in a little cove, which also makes for good exploration, fishing pier and provides incredible views of the lake and surrounding area. Firegrate area is in a depressed area and the log seating is dilapidated. Best tent pads are back away from the firegrate. Several trails provide good opportunities for exploration and views of the creek. Close neighbors and, likely traffic coming in from Sawbill.

Decent site for 1 tent. Nice kitchen/fire area but susceptible to wind. Large flat rocks on west side to get some sun. Decent canoe landing area in little bay on the west. Because of the breeze, I wouldn't anticipate many bugs in summer months. This is one of the first campsites you come to from Cherokee Creek so you may see a lot of canoes. Steep drop to water on the north side. great views. I would stay here again without hesitation.
