Nice campsite on island that is out of the main path of most paddlers. Somewhat open, nice flat fire grate area. Canoe landing OK, quick drop off from shore. Most maps, including this one show the campsite on the wrong side of the island. Was pretty good amount of firewood considering it;s an island. Trails spidering all over the island for exploring.

Little cove landing in fairly deep water. Tent pads are somewhat lumpy but, there is a nice firegrate area. Trails for exploration spider web out from camp including one to a nice overlook of the north side of the lake. Most private site on the lake.

This was a pleasant site after all the spots on South Temperance were taken. Nicely maintained and open firepit. Lots of trails through the island for firewood hunting and discovering fishing spots. Great site for hammock campers and tent folks alike. The site is nice and secluded from the portage and other campers.

The landing & campsite are really on the Northeast Side of the island, not as mapped here or on fisher maps. It has a mostly shaded campsite with nice log surround, & rock surrounded grate. The landing again fairly nice, rocky, but maybe 2.3 deep, 1 ft from shore. As with many island campsites the crapper is closer to the grate. Wildlife sounds (Loon, Wolves, Moose grunts) come alive thanks to the steep deep valley (Lauraentian Divide) on the north west corner. Great rock outcropping to watch the sunset early over the divide.
