Nice site overall. Landing on the west side is a little steep. Confusingly buggy on the early August sunny morning that we were there. Good space around the grate for gathering.

Nice campsite. Landings are on either side of the peninsula. The west side is a sloping rock (maybe too sloped to be a comfortable loading spot). The east side is rocky and narrow, so neither option is great. The tent pads are flat, but it looked like they could get wet if it rained. The trees somewhat protect the site from the wind. Nice sitting rocks. Most likely a busy area - will see a lot of people passing by.

Nice campsite. Great views of Sawbill and lots of room to roam around. Good tree cover for tarps. Fish were caught from campsite (Bass). But, rocks abound so fishing wasn't easy. Cedar stand, so wood was around. Nice entry in the back for wet foot canoe landing. The lake narrows at this point and Sawbill is popular. So, many friendly waves took place. The campsite is sunk in so paddlers couldn't really see in, plenty of privacy. This would be a 5 star in my opinion but we hit it on a rainy weekend. We had a lot of water. Parts of the campsite became pretty muddy. Easy paddle to and from, I've stayed here twice and enjoyed it both times. It could be a good kids campsite. The Doleman on the Kelso is doable day adventure from here.
