The site is back in the woods. There is no view of the lake from the fire grate. It is protected from the wind. The landing is OK - it is a shallow, rocky area with a "dock" that someone built up. The trail from the landing to the site is steep. The tent pads are flat. There is one tent pad right by the landing, but the rest are back in the woods.

This is a nice site as I remember it. We stayed stopped there in the middle of a rain and lightening storm, set up in the rain, and tore down in more rain. It is elevated and back in the woods to be a bit private even though it is on the beaten path and near a portage.
