Nice site on the island. Near a marshy area, which provided bugs none of the other sites we stayed at had during this trip. LOUD spring peepers came out at night.

Plenty of room to spread out! A trail runs along the entire perimeter of the island. One of our guys had a beaver walk up on his tent at night. Plenty of loon and eagle action. Tons of very loud frogs on the southeast side of the island make noise from dusk until dawn.

Overall good campsite. We saw 5 possible tent spots with a few of them being for smaller tents. The fire pit area is nice and open with plenty of morning and midday sun and evening shade. There where plenty of options for trees to hang the packs in as well. A nice area for canoe landing and swimming right in front of the site. The island itself had lots of trails to explore. However, there where many trees that have been cut down along these trails. The latrine was a bit of a hike from the site and slightly visible to the water as well.

Great secluded site, you feel like you have the entire south side of the lake to yourself. Nice inlet for swimming. Great fishing around the adjacent islands. Defined trails will allow you to explore the island.

Bugs were pretty bad now and then. Frogs were definitely serenading at night. But not so loud you could not hear the abundant loons. Nice area for a tarp, huge fire area, this is a great site for a group. Tent pad closest to lake had been covered in dried grasses (looked like straw) by someone...was likely muddy. Made for a very comfortable pad. Toilet had a lid. Plenty of wood. Easy landing. Bring head nets and bug spray.

We nicknamed this one Frog Island. There were an abundant amount of frogs croaking you to sleep at night. Wonderful island with plenty of room for larger groups. The only draw back was the lack of shade around the fire pit area, bring a tarp.

Exceptional site. Protected, semi-private from the beaten trail. Good tent pads and lake access. Big space with plenty of trails on the island. No problem finding wood. Great eagle's nest across the bay.

Nice landing with good views. Site is situated under some old white pines. Trails running all over the island. Fire grate is near & facing a boggy area. (think bugs....)
