This site is a bit closed in by brush and shrubs, but there was a reasonable lake view as the southernly breeze blew in on us. It was a bit tight for 2 adults and 2 kids, and the latrine is a country mile hike of its own, but it was still nice. Hanging a bear bag was a challenge, but we got one to work back in the woods off the latrine trail. I usually take a bit of pride in hanging a bear bag, but this site gave me frustration and I eventually had to settle for "good enough" on our last night. My kids enjoyed fishing from the point. The water was pretty murky, so even though we were in the mood to swim, this didn't seem like the place to do it.

Nice bay canoe landing. Priave tent pats on a small hill away from fire pit with several hammock options near fire pit. Ample shore fishing options. Caught dozens of northern's is shallow water off east bank. Hooked a large walleye after dusk off southern point. Two nights we saw bald eagles, hawks, beaver, and several Loons call this area of the lake home. We spent considerable time cleaning the brush from this site, so it's good to go for the season.

Landings are rocky but in a small bay. Overall nice campsite. Tent pads are spaced out and somewhat private.

Small and private for sure - not a great site unless you're solo. In the wind quite a bit. Small and rocky tent pads.
