this was a pleasant site. felt secluded, but nice views of the lake.
landing was not hard at all.
not a lot of sun due to being on the north side of the island.
a network of trails connect the campsites on this island.

This site sets down low on the north side of the island. It as a good kitchen/fire grate area with good seating. We had adequate space to set up our 2 - 3 person tents. There is minimal shore fishing area but you do have a good view to the west to watch the sunset.

Great site, especially if paired with the site at the tip of the island, which is the better site. Site is well protected, has ok spot to land canoes. Not great swimming from the site, and sunsets are no good. Positives are that right out the back of the site is a short hike up to the top of the peak on the island for an AWESOME view! Highlight of our trip! Really close to landing, for the lazy man's trip as well. Also nice paddle to Vernon Lake, for an afternoon trip, on the portage has a great waterfall.

Very secluded campsite, roomy area around fire area. In an inlet on the island, which seemed quite sheltered from the wind for the most part. My girls really enjoyed this campsite. The water was low this year, so plenty of rocks along the shore to explore.

In a natural inlet on north side of island; shaded, easy landing for canoes, room for multiple canoes at shoreline
