Site has good views of the western part of the lake. Two good tent pads without many rocks. Area picked over for firewood.

Had a great time here for 5 nights. Nice point site with beautiful sunset views. Nicely protected but still catches a breeze. Fishing was so-so - hooked a couple small bass just north of the site. There's a trail up where you can get a great view south and west. Biggest negatives were traffic heading toward the portage to Lily Lake and could hear other campers on the island across the water at site 942.

This site has two decent tent pads, one fits a small four person tent quite well and the other is a much larger pad. Both pads are comfortable, flat and not very rock infested. The Latrine is located close to camp which is a plus, and there is a beatuiful overlook that is a short hike behind the site, the view is woth it. The site is exposed to wind from the west which helps with bugs. The landing is decent we were able to keep three canoes tied up with no problems. Beautiful views to the west from shore line. Shore fishing wasn't the greates, and by not the greatest i do mean every night we fished and caught nothing, but the fish were not far away. The site is in the middle of the lake with some really decent options for fishing a short paddle away. Definitely a decent option for first time visit to the lake, but always a solid fall back after that.
