Sloped rock face landing right in front of camp and there is a lesser used rocky spot around back as well. The fire grate is tucked back away from the lake but, still affords a decent view of the lake. There is a neat little rock knob rise just outside the main camp area that provides an ideal spot for star gazing, watching sunsets, looking out at lake etc. There's a myriad of tent pads though none are ideal and it appears some moisture may gather near at least one of them. About the right mix of tree cover for tarp, hammock, shade and yet still feels open & airy. Very close to the portage in/out of Whack Lake and the trail to the latrine was a long, grueling climb.

Overall a pretty nice and spacious campsite. Plenty of hammock options. When we were hear, we experienced a lot of rain through out the week and the site did puddle up pretty good.

Nice little spot on a fine lake. Nothing outstanding, nothing overly negative. Fire grate is a bitt offshore.
