Great campsite. Plenty of space for multiple tent pads and setting up some rainfly shelters. Has a nice cross breeze in the "main area" which helped keep bugs away, while still being able to put up tents and hammocks with some tree cover with less wind. We also caught quite a bit of walleye right off of this campsite.

Campsite is located on the far eastern end of the island, approximately a 15-20 minute easy paddle from the boat landing. It is raised above lake level, with decent path up. The landing is on the south side of the camp and mostly protected from the wind. Decent canoe storage. Nice fire grate area (fire ban so no campfire for us) and large open area for tents and tarps. A couple smaller tent pads back a short way from the main area. Excellent sitting rock outcrop for star gazing to the south. Also tall pines offer great bear bag hanging. Nice spot for swimming off the landing. It is on the protected from the wind paddle route, so you will see traveler. Highly recommend.

Nice, elevated site with sloping rocks leading up to the kitchen area. Good fishing in the channel to the southwest. Large open areas for tents with trees around the firepit to hang rainfly if necessary. Nice hiking up the hill to the center of the island.

Visited sight wile at 953, probably best sight on island. More work to get to down the channel with the mainland, has a steep rock entrance instead of gentler dirt entrance. Hi and probably could get windy, probably fewer bug problems.
