From a distance, this campsite does not look good. On closer inspection, though, it actually is decent. A small fire burned the shoreline somewhat recently, but the growth is coming back. The fire was localized basically to this campsite. The campsite itself, though, is beyond the burned area back in the trees. The landing was OK. We got pretty good at getting in and out of the canoe using the rocks available. There basically is not a view from the kitchen, but you can go a few feet into the burned area to get all the view you want (no trees blocking it there). There is a shortage of good tent pads. I am saying there is only one good tent pad since the others were slightly slanted, but they will all work fine.
