Okay, every other review of the site is correct but… A site is what one makes of it. It’s true there is absolutely no option for a tarp and it is void of any shade so you will bake in the sun the way I did. However, you can hang one hammock on the western most spot of this site. I know because I did. Also, there is an island right out in front of the site that if you troll at dusk on the western side of the island you can get huge lake trout. The site would only be good for ground-pounders (tents) in dry, cloudy weather. Good luck!

all trees have been cut down or died due to overuse of this site.
There is no shade or shelter from storms.
Its now just a dusty spot with some garbage
Impossible to put up a rain tarp

Beautiful view, but no shade and no trees for hanging hammocks. Great spot for lunch and swimming, but since it was 90 degrees, we moved east in search of shade.

Site has an excellent view on this rock outcrop point. did not notice a lot of tent pad options. Did not catch anything from the site, had better luck paddling around.

Not much for tent pads but tons of blueberries up the hill. Quiet area
