This unique mainland site features a massive cliff that draws you in from miles away. A narrow slot in a small sand beach provides wetfoot landing. Canoes have to be hauled up to the large sparsely treed clearing. The path up to the log reinforced clearing has human placed rock steps. Was this a resort or a cabin site in its distant past? The kitchen is close to the water, but is well protected from most winds. However, there is not much seating. There are five good tent pads distributed over entire clearing. The cliff is great for watching sunsets, and the small sand beach is a rare amenity on Perent Lake.

The highlight of the site for my kids was the sandy wading area. The landing was pretty easy. The kitchen has a good view towards the south. You can hike up and get a spectacular view on top of a cliff. There is also a small tent pad on top of the cliff. We went up to the cliff to get a breeze to escape the bugs that plagued us by the kitchen. The bay was shallow, so the shore fishing was poor.
