The river is the west boundary of Barber Park. The parking area is on the east side, off McDougal Road. Follow the bike path to the SR150 bridge. The mowed area gives clearest access to the river. The river bank is a sharp drop, depending on water level, and there is lots of poison ivy here. A new access, below the end of Riverside Drive, is part of the Barber Park improvement plan.
