Mountain Lake overlook. This is one of the more famous overlooks on the BRT (probably only behind west rose, watap, and high cliffs.) It was hit hard in the 2021 Tornado and the damage is readily apparent coming across either of the portages or from the trail. The view from here on a clear day reaches to Moose Mountain on the far end.

I have visited this overlook many times, but not since the tornado. It's one of the spots I always make sure to stop if I have a new group with me going over the Clearwater/Mountain portage. It's (was) a straightforward hike from the portage though I understand the tornado took some serious cleanup efforts.
