My friend and I bushwhacked from Neewin to Niswi. There is nothing resembling a defined portage remaining. A few rock cairns approximate a route for the first third, then they fall off for the remainder of the distance. With things fully leafed-out, it would be quite difficult to see your way through the woods. Have a paper map and compass, and a GPS as backup if you're going to attempt this bushwhack. There is no defined path
