What one would think would be a quick easy portage looking at the map, can actually be a killer, especially coming from Cub. Hard to believe the muck hole, (when you first see it) is where you need to pull out at. Just as hard to put in when coming from Big Bateau to Cub. Short trail seems surprisingly used very little. Narrow.

Despite this being only an 8 rod portage, it can be my least favorite of all the portages because it gets muddy.
