When you see your take out from East Bear, it looks daunting. Not to worry though, East Bear to Mountain is not a too bad for a longer Sylvania portage. A nice sand beach on the Mountain side is a great place for a break and a swim. I'd say Mountain to East Bear is a little tougher.
