I didn’t have any trouble with this one. As far as the ravine goes, the rock face is very smooth and somewhat steep, so it could be pretty slick on a wet day, which would change everything. Especially if the water flowing at the bottom gets wider in a flood. When I was there (in relatively high water) it was merely a steep dirt descent with a step over the water and a steeper rock face ascent. I had no trouble doing so with the canoe or the pack.

There's a rock gap you need to cross which is a little daunting with the canoe, but overall an easy portage.
