Very scenic falls, these falls stop Walleye from going further up the Haggart River from Carroll Lake. Caught a bunch of walleye on the downstream side for lunch later on. This is a steep one - extreme caution when wet!

With low water had to walk over boulders at each end of the portage. It was about 90m. There is a somewhat steep incline at the top that makes its way along the edge of the rapids. Watch your footing. At the upstream end of the portage paddling towards the next portage I saw flagging tape on the west shore. I suspect that in high water it may have been too difficult to access this portage and someone blazed a new trail on the westside of the river.

This portage is on the east side and only 70 m as marked on the park map. It was cleaned and flagged in August 2020.
