I agree with the earlier comment....this is a muddy portage in the middle. My whole leg sank into one sinkhole. But on the plus side, this portage did survive the fire so easy to follow. I marked the north entrance with tree blazes, so should be easier to find when going east. I had trouble finding it when paddling by the first time.
