This is a pretty pleasant portage without any major issues even considering the burns. The Crystal Lake side can be interesting in a west or south wind since it's a small drop off rock to put in.

This portage was completed burned by the 2021 fire. I was able to find the old portage trail and sawed some fallen burned trees out of the way. It is also marked with flagging tape where needed. Both entrances are marked with a rock cairn.
