The fire of 2021 burned this portage again and took out all the smaller jackpines that were growing back from the 2016 fire. It is now cleaned up and marked with more rock cairns so should be easy to follow. Both ends are now marked and easy to find.

Decent portage when we did it. Very steep downhill into Welkin Lake.
